My dieting experience is such that I do not voluntarily resort to this means of torture. If it weren't for a "but": I've personally seen the results of two weeks of sitting on a "Japanese" diet. Just like in the magazine: "before" and "after". Still, the principle of beauty and health is perhaps the best.

It's hard to say why the diet is called Japanese - half of the foods recommended for eating are exotic for the Japanese. According to legend, the diet was developed by experts from the Japanese clinic "Yaeks", but no trace of this office was found on the English-speaking Internet.

Lyrical sentimental decline

I must say that I admire the courage of people who can feel the weight loss recipe found on the net and immediately try it on themselves. I am also wary of diet. Life has brought me together with them twice.

The first time - in a severe form, when I had a kind of stomach infection in the mountains, and when I was at an altitude of 3, 000 meters for three weeks, I simply could not eat: everything wanted to return immediately. The second time was when I decided to limit my diet to 1, 000 calories a day. For about a month, my diet consisted of breakfast coffee and frozen vegetables for dinner, which are suitable for lunch. I learned later that the diet should be balanced.

So the first question I asked was: How balanced is the Japanese diet? "More or less, but not enough amino acids, " replied a biochemistry friend, "you'll be jealous - horror with a gun. "His fear of my hypothetically growing evil did not come true. For the first two days, the body was suppressed by the sudden disappearance of normal food from life. And he was silent and indifferent, realizing that it was a long time, but not forever.

Charm and frustration

During each experience, I collected a list of charms and disappointments, as I had myself. Rather, the anxiety and taste of the diet.

Anxiety # 1

The diet is strict. Because, according to the authors, it is designed to change metabolism. Therefore, the slightest deviation from the course (even a crouton, even an apple) - and the expected effect is not guaranteed. Here's what to expect: Weight loss of 5 to 8 kilograms and weight stabilization in the future.

Anxiety # 2

It is very difficult to come to a business dinner and ask me in confusion, to ask for two boiled eggs and 200 grams of grated carrots. In general, such requests are not fulfilled. Therefore, you will have to carry all the provisions in your bag. And most likely prepare diet foods the day before.

Welcome number 1

The 13 days on the Japanese diet will cost you about twice as much as your daily work lunch or lunch at work. And much more - buying food for the home.

Nice number 2

In general, if at least half of the foods you eat are unpleasant for you, it is better not to start a serious diet. And in "normal life" and in fish, boiled beef, carrots, kefir and cabbage, I ate them with great pleasure, so I was glad to see them on the table.

Many people ask about drinking coffee every morning - isn't it harmful? If you have a heart problem or high blood pressure, coffee can have a negative effect. It is worth consulting your doctor before starting a Japanese diet.

A number of sensations

For the first two days of the diet, the scene haunted me: as soon as I washed my eyes, I saw thin baked pancakes rolling into a tube on their own in front of my inner gaze. Then someone kindly dipped it in strawberry jam and brought it to my face. There were no olfactory hallucinations. After chasing me for two days, the pancakes were left behind.

A stony indifference and calm attitude to culinary delights that continue to this day. This does not mean that I refuse to offer something tasty. However, due to the fact that "there is a lot of food", nervous tremors are no longer observed.

I did not throw so much - only 4 pounds, but the weight does not go back. I don't know who to thank for this: the developers of the Japanese diet or myself - for exercising twice a week. Just a detail: during the diet you notice a significant weakening, and it is difficult to open a bottle of mineral water, which is not opened until the end. But then the power is restored quickly.

You can drink mineral water or just boiled water without restrictions between meals. And - I want to remind you - never go beyond the specified diet.
